OUR PRINCIPLES
Quality Design
Quality architecture requires creative design ideas and attention to detail in equal quantities.
We achieve this balance to provide quality contemporary architecture that is custom tailored to suit the individual needs of the client. At all stages throughout design and construction we carefully consider every detail to ensure utmost quality.
Environmental Sustainability
Good architecture responds to its local climate, uses resources wisely and avoids toxic materials. Our buildings are designed with the following environmental goals:
>To be inherently flexible in order to adapt to changes in use over time, thereby minimising the need for major alterations.
> To use durable, non-toxic materials and quality detailing to increase the life of the building and minimise maintenance costs and health risks.
> To provide buildings suited to their climate and site, offering the highest standards of livability and energy efficiency.
> To minimise the environmental impact and resource use at each stage of the overall lifecycle of the building from construction, occupation, through to eventual decommissioning.
Lowering carbon dioxide emissions
We can see the effects of global warming all around us - longer, hotter summers, water shortages, extreme weather events. Global warming is a problem everyone can do something about,
and we can help our clients minimise the greenhouse gas emissions of their buildings, with the aim of every building being 'carbon nuetral.'
In the office, we minimise our own carbon emissions in the following ways:
>Alternative transport: we take advantage of our city location - all staff either walk, cycle or use public transport to get to work.
>Green power: we use 100% green power.
>Paperless office: we use electronic storage instead of paper where ever possible.

Social Sustainability
Well designed buildings can contribute positively to the local street, neighbourhood and community. Our buildings are designed to engage with the public realm to encourage street life while also helping improve neighbourhood security.
